Planned Preventative Maintenance

Our regime for loading bay lifts is a 6 monthly intervention, utilising enhanced method statements developed by our Research & Development team. This helps drive asset availability and mitigate breakdowns more than just a regular compliance check.

This cost effective maintenance model is a shift away from traditional industry maintenance provision, moving towards more proactive interventions, planned preventative work and mitigation against reactive downtime.

Following a deep clean of your loading bay environments, our industry leading PPM regime addresses key areas of intervention, allowing for qualitative checks, measurements, and uncontaminated lubrication point access. Some of these key areas include:

Pit Cleaning

We use advanced equipment, including high-pressure jet washers and industrial vacuums, to ensure a thorough clean. Our expert team also provides maintenance services, ensuring your pit is fully operational and ready for use.

We offer a comprehensive pit cleaning service to ensure your loading bays, pits, and drainage systems are fully maintained, safe, and functional.

Our innovative approach mitigates against both flooding and pests. It also allows us to provide detailed condition reports of the pit's structural integrity, and inspect the fundamental components of the loading bay asset to ensure it is situated correctly and without faults.

Rebuilds

Our industry-leading rebuild operation is continually recycling redundant or end-of-life equipment back to 'as new' for return into customer estates.

All work is carried out by fully qualified electromechanical engineers who recycle and upgrade lifting assets to current standards, extending their operational lifespan.

Factory Functions

Our central Bury location, with 40,000 square feet of factory space, is home to the Miller's Vanguard workshop team. This factory provides rebuild, repair, and refurbishment services off-site when on-site repairs are deemed unsafe.

This site features many specialist capabilities, such as caustic cleaning, soak testing, and an in-house PCB laboratory.

New goods supply and installation

If your loading bay equipment fails, we offer a full range of replacements, tailored to your needs.

Our team of loading bay surveyors will assess your current infrastructure and needs, helping you select the perfect lifting solution.

Once manufactured, our highly skilled team of engineers will oversee the seamless installation of your new equipment. Our National Logistics Operation includes a fleet of vehicles, from vans to Hi-ab cranes, allowing us to deliver and install equipment quickly and efficiently.

In addition to ensuring that your new device is fully operational, our team will provide all required documentation as well as training for your staff.

Our project management team will keep you informed every step of the way, ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.

Understanding that temporary solutions are required on occasion, we maintain a fleet of loan scissor lifts reserved for urgent situations and peak trading periods. These loan lifts provide an ideal solution for covering critical repairs or replacements with longer lead times.
